We use the word "hackerdom" because it catches the essence of our activity better than some more traditional words such as "magic", "witchcraft", "philosophy" or "science".

Pure hackerdom - involving exploration, creative experimentation and self-expression - has existed in the human world for thousands of years. The hacker mindset is the origin of cultural constructions such as philosophy, spirituality, art, technology and science.

The hackerdom of Hacca Craft is total, covering all aspects of human existence. Strict specialization in a specific area - even in an overall sense such as "I'm a scientist, not an artist" - is regarded as dangerous self-restriction.

Computer hackerdom constitutes a large portion of hackerdom in the modern world. From the viewpoint of Hacca Craft, it provides a lot of relevant and universal concepts, analogies, mental tools and methods of self-cultivation.
